Sir Timothy John “Tim” Berners-Lee, OM, KBE, FRS, FREng, FRSA is a British engineer and computer scientist and MIT professor credited with inventing the World Wide Web, making the first proposal for it in March 1989. Sir Tim lived for many years in Wimborne, Dorset. John Cornish - Wimborne
31 October 2009 marks 1000 days to go until the start of the 2012 London Games.
